BLA designs bespoke programmes for PONs, PCTO (ex ASL, Alternanza Scuola/Lavoro) and INPS.
PONs – These projects can take place during the whole academic year and give students the possibility to attend a language course abroad. The mobility abroad must have as aim the acquisition of a recognised language certificate of at least level B2. Students can sit the exam abroad, at the end of the mobility experience, or once back in Italy. The programme should be of 60 hours distributed in 3 weeks. Beneficiary students are those enrolled in their 3rd, 4th or 5th year of secondary education. Each school can send abroad a group of 15 students and 2 accompanying teachers.
PCTO (ex ASL) – Percorsi per le Competenze Trasversali e l’Orientamento.
Beneficiary students are those enrolled in their their 3rd, 4th or 5th year of secondary education (istituti tecnici e professionali e licei) – aged between 15 and 18 years. This project offers students the opportunity to improve their professional competences and gain a work placement experience abroad.
Eligible students will have the opportunity to take part individually in intensive language courses, preparing them to successfully obtain a B2, C1 or C2 Certificate.
Students should be aged between 16 and 23, and attending the second, third, forth or fifth year of high school.
The language course, of 20 hours/week, lasts between 3 and 5 weeks, and takes place in July, August or September.
Thanks to the many years of experience with such projects, we are aware of all the requirements and can assist teachers with the technicalities involved.
Programmes can run from 1 to 5 weeks – according to the groups’ request. Our package includes up to 40 hours/week of lesson, weekend excursions, airport transfers, residential accommodation, full board, and a daily programme of afternoon and evening activities.
