- What happens if the student’s flight is delayed? In the event of flight delays, worry not! A dedicated member of our staff will be there to welcome students upon their arrival. They’ll assist with room allocations, ensuring a smooth transition despite any unforeseen delays.
- What kind of insurance do I need? We offer comprehensive travel and medical insurance at a competitive cost of £2 per day. This option can be seamlessly included, providing parents with peace of mind regarding their child’s well-being during the programme.
- Do you cater for special diets and allergies? Absolutely! We are committed to accommodating special diets and allergies. Your child’s dietary needs are our priority.
- Do children need to bring extra money with them? Extra money is only necessary if children wish to buy presents or snacks. Please note that entrance tickets to major attractions such as Arundel Castle, Butlins in Bognor, Roman Pavilion in Brighton, etc., are not included in the package.
- What days are the excursions on? Our full-day excursions are typically scheduled for Saturdays. However, it’s essential to be aware that the schedule might be subject to change due to unforeseen weather conditions.
- In terms of both the return and outward journey, when is the best time frame for parents to book a flight? We recommend parents book flights within the time frame of 8 am to 8 pm for both the outward and return journeys. This ensures a convenient and smooth travel experience for your child.
- What is the distance from residence to classes? The distance from residence to classes is incredibly convenient as our classrooms, bedrooms, canteen, and social spaces are all within walking distance, typically just a few minutes away from each other.
- What are the dates of arrival and departure? Ideally, students should arrive on a Monday and leave on a Sunday.
- Can students share a room? Yes, we do offer twin rooms. The pricing for a single room is the same as a twin room. Twin rooms are typically standard rooms, which means that bathrooms are shared with other students and placed along the corridors.
- What’s the ratio of students to bathrooms for standard rooms? For standard rooms, the ratio is 3 students to every one bathroom. We aim to maintain a comfortable and convenient living environment for all our students.
- Are boys and girls placed in different blocks? Yes, we tend to separate boys from girls.
- Whats’ the minimum level of English required to participate in the YEP programme? An intermediate level is required.
- What’s the closest airport? London Gatwick airport.
- What happens if the student can’t attend the course? Please refer to our Terms & Conditions
- Is there a laundry ? How does it work? We have a convenient laundry facility on campus where students can wash and dry their clothes. It’s easy to use – 1 wash costs £2.20, and 1 dry costs £1.20. To access the laundry room, simply use your room card. For payment, download the Circuit Laundry app and follow the instructions. Please make sure to select the correct campus (Bishop Otter Chichester or Bognor Regis depending on where you are staying at. If you need assistance, our staff are available to help you with the process. Additionally, if you need laundry detergent, it’s available for purchase on-site. Just ask our staff, and they will be happy to assist you!
- Does the YEP (Young Entrepreneurs Programme) include excursions ? Yes, it does. Students will take part in all half-day and full day excursions. They won’t be able to take part in some of the sports and socio -cultural activities as they’ll have to attend workshops twice weekly.
- Do students need to bring bed linen and towels? No. We provide bed linen and towels and they’re changed weekly.
- Are study materials provided? Yes, all study materials are provided by us so students don’t need to bring anything other their selves!
- Should students bring their own hairdryers? Yes. Hairdryers are not provided by the university campus.
